Automotive Parts Manager – Melloy ChevroletLos Lunas, NM | Greater Albuquerque AreaMelloy Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department in Los Lunas.We need someone who knows dealership Parts, can manage inventory and people, and understands how important a good Parts Department is to keeping technicians productive and customers happy.Chevrolet or General Motors Parts experience is strongly preferred.What We're Looking ForOur Parts Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the department, including:Managing and developing the Parts teamInventory control, stocking levels and inventory accuracyManaging aging and obsolete inventoryMonitoring fill rate and inventory turnsMaintaining Parts gross and pricingManaging special orders, returns and freightSupporting technicians and reducing parts-related delaysWorking closely with the Service Manager and Service AdvisorsMaintaining GM Parts policies and proceduresReviewing department performance and controlling expensesWe want someone who understands that the goal isn't to fill a warehouse with parts. It's to have the right parts available when our technicians and customers need them.QualificationsPrevious automotive dealership Parts management experience is required. Chevrolet/GM experience is preferred.You should have a strong understanding of dealership parts inventory, gross profit, obsolescence, technician support and day-to-day Parts operations.
