We are hiring a Welder/Metal Fabricator for their Metal Fabrication company. The Welder/Metal Fabricator will be involved in all parts of the fabrication process, from raw material to finished product. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, with company benefits once converted to Direct Hire. The Welder/Fabricator will have the opportunity to fabricate high profile projects throughout New York City! 

Welder/Metal Fabricator Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble, and weld metal components for stairs, railings, and other structural projects using provided blueprints and specifications.
• Review drawings and completed work to identify errors, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Work independently and with team members to complete projects efficiently and within established timelines.
• Assist with the handling, movement, and organization of materials throughout the fabrication facility.

Welder/Metal Fabricator Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

*Welding Test will be administered as part of the interview process*

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm (Overtime Availability)

Pay: $21- $34/hr. depending on experience
