Social Media Content Creator

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client's time zone.

Our client is a seasonal lodge dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while growing brand awareness and increasing direct bookings through digital marketing. As the business continues to expand its online presence, they are seeking a Social Media Content Creator to produce engaging content that showcases the lodge experience and strengthens the brand across digital platforms.

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging short-form video and visual content across the lodge's social media and digital channels. The Social Media Content Creator will manage content planning, maintain a consistent publishing schedule, and collaborate with leadership to ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, seasonal priorities, and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visual storytelling, content creation, and producing high-quality social media content in a creative, execution-focused environment.

Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Content Creation & Execution

• Produce short-form videos and visual content that showcase the lodge experience, amenities, and surrounding environment.
• Edit and optimize content for platform-native formats, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook posts.
• Write engaging captions that align with the brand voice and guest expectations.
• Prepare content for both social media platforms and website placements.

Content Planning & Publishing

• Maintain a structured content calendar aligned with seasonal promotions and marketing priorities.
• Ensure consistent publishing across all digital channels.
• Adjust content output based on campaign objectives and seasonal business needs.
• Coordinate content delivery to support ongoing marketing initiatives.

Brand Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with leadership to align content themes with business objectives.
• Follow established brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
• Ensure all content is authentic, polished, and consistent with the lodge's positioning.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve content quality and engagement.

Experience

• Proven experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Hands-on experience producing and editing short-form video content.
• Experience developing visual storytelling content for brands or businesses.
• Experience managing content calendars and maintaining consistent publishing schedules is preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency with video editing and content creation tools.
• Strong written communication skills for captions and social media copy.
• Strong visual storytelling and creative content development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple content projects while meeting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership.
• Strong understanding of brand consistency and content quality.
