Position Overview

Stryker Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Highland Park, New Jersey. Work Environment

This role is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Highland Park, NJ. As a part of a close-knit team, you will work 40 hours a week, operating Monday through Friday. The onsite environment is designed to promote collaboration among team members, ensuring that every clinician contributes to and benefits from shared knowledge and approaches to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities and challenges.
  • Developing and implementing customized treatment programs that align with individual patient needs and physician recommendations.
  • Administering therapeutic interventions across various specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
  • Documenting patient progress using appropriate methodologies and tools, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Providing hands-on care through skilled therapeutic techniques aimed at improving patients' functional abilities.
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, preventive care, and strategies for effective recovery at home.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Achieving minimum utilization goals and proactively supporting overall business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, spanning various age groups and conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals recovering from injuries, managing chronic pain, and optimizing athletic performance. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Completion of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, along with proficiency in computer software applications.
  • A commitment to building strong relationships with patients to help them achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, with a demonstrated ability to connect positively with patients and provide individualized, compassionate care.

Compensation and Benefits

Stryker Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
