Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our Fredericksburg Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite in a well-equipped facility designed for rehabilitation care. The center is known for its friendly and engaging atmosphere, which encourages open communication and collaboration among team members. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where ideas are shared, and joint efforts lead to enhanced patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions across various specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes and adhere to established clinical guidelines.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers to empower them in their recovery and rehabilitation journeys.
• Deliver exemplary customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience throughout their treatment.
• Collaborate with a broader team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient recovery and promote a holistic approach to care.
• Strive to meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and other business objectives aligned with practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages requiring rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions. Qualifications

The essential qualifications for this role include:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarization with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• A commitment to establishing and nurturing strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported and motivated throughout their care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy practice will be given preference. Experience in a rehabilitation center or outpatient setting, particularly with a focus on orthopedic, pediatric, or sports medicine populations, will enhance your candidacy. Demonstrated ability to utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based methodologies will be particularly valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, accompanied by robust benefits to support your overall well-being. Benefits include:
